This is an allegory that speaks volumes to a new generation. Chuck Black's Lady Carliss is a story of a young woman's struggle over temptation and how she was able to overcome the temptations that lord Malco allured her with through the power of the Prince. Lady Carliss was a devoted Knight of the Prince who had to face this battle and overcome it, just as each of us must overcome certain battles in our lives. By her faithfulness and desire to live a pure life--and with the help of the Prince and those He sent to her--she was victorious. Attractively written, Chuck has weaved a great message of triumph over sin, temptation, escapism without 'preaching' it. Woven with fantastic stories of knights, swords, lords and castles, this book will challenge you to take hold of the victory that Jesus has already won and live victoriously for Him!
