So if you dont know, this book is actually a long comic. Which is great because you continue to get a great feel for the Avatar TLA world. If you are a fan of the tv show then this is a great follow up to it. It takes place after the finale of the show. The show leaves you with a lot of conclusion but also some cliffhangers like Zuko asking his father where his mother was. Now we get to find out. Ill mention that the entire story isnt here and *SPOILER* this book leaves you with a cliffhanger to continue the story in more books. As of July 26, 2013 I believe the 2nd book to this story just came out recently. All in all, the art is a great compliment and the writing is top notch. Each page keeps ya turning and excited for the next bit. The comedy, fun, action, and seriousness from the tv show still exists. I cant wait to see whats in store in the next book.

This series is definitely my favorite of all the graphic novels. It's SUPER awesome, like the whole Avatar franchise (except the horrible movie. *shudders*).

I've been waiting SO long. Hopefully they make more seasons of Avatar with this in it and the other books, because the legend of korra got WAY too much into the futuristic age. They should have stayed as it was with there being no tech.
