My ladys choosing is a splendid mix of comedy and romance. Working a new twist on an old concept and being incredibly tongue in cheek about it too boot! Fans of the historical romance genre will get a kick out of the many tropes on offer in this book. I had a ball rummaging through the pages to find out what happened in the next part of my hilarious journey.

It's well written. The writer's stylistic choice is a good match for the time period, it really made me feel like I was living in a Jane Austen novel. Pacing is a little off though. some of the scenes lacked clarity and the endings left more to be desired. It was okay but I wanted more tbh
