About the Author

Gary Edmundson was born in Sunderland, England in 1956. At the age of ten he emigrated with his family to Canada. He is currently settled in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta working in the chemical industry. Gary has authored a number of titles for the Osprey Modelling Series, and also provides technical advice to a popular model kit manufacturer. Jim Carswell was born in 1965, and has a BSc from the University of Alberta. He has been building plastic models since his childhood and has created master models and conversions for HobbyFan and Maple Leaf Models. A current member of AMPS and long time member of IPMS Edmonton, Jim's work has been widely published in the hobby press. Tom Cockle was born in Edmonton, Alberta in 1949. He has been modelling for 25 years and has won several awards at US and Canadian model shows. During this time, he has written articles for several magazines including Military Modeler, Military in Scale, Military Modelcraft International, FineScale Modeler and AFV Modeller. He has also authored several books for Concord Publications and the Sturmgeschutz III Ausf.G Walk Around for Squadron/Signal Publications. Graeme Davidson was born in Wellingborough, England, in 1969. He is a graduate of the Royal Military College and is currently serving with the Canadian Forces Medical Services in Kandahar, Afghanistan. He has been an active modeller for over 20 years and his main interest is modern Canadian AFVs. He lives in Edmonton, Alberta, with his wife Lisa and daughter Zoe. Steven van Beveren has had a lifelong interest in all things military that has led him to serve as a reservist in the Calgary Highlanders for a number of years. This interest in the military also led him to start building military models at an early age. Over the years, he has been a member of several different model clubs, participated in model shows and written several articles. He lives in Alberta, Canada.
