I know the overall story has been done in comics before, but this is a really good addition to the genre. The back and forth in time chapters were nicely laid out. Characters were fleshed to out enough that I want to read more.

If anyone had told me that this novel was so great, I would have doubted them. It starts a little slow with story building, but once the plot unfolds you will be hard pressed to put this one down. I can't wait to read the rest of the series! Summary: Superheros and zombies (Ex's) are a great combination in the hands of this talented author. Enjoy!

I'm not big into superhero stuff, but this shorts and well written book is a surprisingly clever, quick read that manages to take zombies, superheroes, super soldiers, drop them all into a post apocalyptic Los Angeles, and turn it all into one of the most original and enjoyable novels I've read in years. And the best part? There are many more in this series, already written and just waiting to be xraye....errr, read. (Maybe not in a single bound, or as fast as a speeding bullet, but I'll get there!)
