About this ebook

Can a hockey hunk teach a yoga instructor to be more flexible? “Kelly Jamieson is an auto-buy for me.”—New York Times bestselling author Carly Phillips

Harrison Wynn
Even though I’m the oldest player on the farm team, I’m playing my heart out this year to prove that I have what it takes to compete in the NHL.
Everyone expects me to live up to my dying hockey hero dad’s legacy, but my chances are receding every season.
What I need is to focus, but the team’s new yoga instructor is a major distraction; I’ve had my eye on her from the first time we met.
Except she’s not interested—okay, maybe actively disinterested—since I accidentally dumped her into the ocean during our paddleboard yoga class.
How can I prove to her—and to the NHL—that I’m worth taking a chance on?

Arya Ross
Men are the last thing I need in my life.
Yoga is my priority; it helps me center myself and heal my soul.
But I can’t turn down the once-in-a-lifetime offer to be the personal yoga instructor for the local hockey team.
Sure, there are some cute players—including Harrison Wynn, who seemingly won’t take no for an answer, and whose boyish smile and sexy charm are hard to resist.
He seems genuine, and I wonder . . .
Can I put my past behind me to start a future with him?

Kelly Jamieson is on a winning streak with book four in the Wynn Hockey series, For the Win. This is Harrison Wynn’s and Arya Ross’ story. I was looking forward to their book. I was not disappointed. Harrison plays left wing. He was recently called up from the AHL to play for the California Condors. Arya is a yoga instructor. She teaches a stand-up paddle board yoga class where she met Harrison in a prior book. This contemporary sports romance is suitable for adult readers. Harrison is a likable character. He was dealing with a lot of stress in this story. He had a two-way contract, so he was going back and forth between the AHL and NHL. He had the pressure of living up to his father’s name as a hockey player. Top that off with his family dealing with the possibility that his dad has Alzheimer’s. When Harrison met Arya, it was love at first site. Unfortunately, Arya had a horrible experience that left her not wanting to date. He sets out with numerous creative ways to win her over. This book had me laughing and crying. Kelly Jamieson continues to do a spectacular job with this series. The characters are well-developed and grow. The Books build on each other. They are skillfully written and hard to put down. I’m looking forward to Jackson’s and Molly’s story next. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Winning isn’t everything. For The Win is the fourth book in the ‘Wynn Hockey’ series by Kelly Jamieson. It’s a stand-alone, but, if you haven’t read any of the others, then you should. Not just because they are an interconnected series of stand-alones, but they’re all such great stories, too. Plus, there is a story arc throughout them all. It’s not a ‘be all’ but it helps to have read them. You can still read this on its own. Just… why would you want too, lol. This is Harrison Wynn’s story. He’s been stuck in the AHL for a while, but now he’s been given a chance to shine in the NHL, it’s a dream he’s harbored since a young age but never quite fulfilled. Both, he and Arya Ross have been in previous books, so it’s nice to see them coming together. Ayra is a yoga teacher and when she first met Harrison she thought he was a bit of a clown. Harrison had a completely different response. Arya has a past that still haunts her and she finds it difficult to give her trust, never mind open up and share her feelings. Harrison, in his own unique way, shows her just how wrong she is about him. This one was bursting at the seams with all the feels. From simple friendship, to adoration and unfailing love. It tests limits and tugs at heartstrings. This is a certain One-Clicker for me. Check it out and see for yourself.

4 Star Review of For The Win (Wynn Hockey #4) by Kelly Jamieson I enjoy Kelly Jamieson’s style of writing, her characters are strong and yet she shows that they can be human and not the “perfect” hero or heroine and this makes for a realistic and enjoyable read. For The Win is the fourth in the latest series, Wynn Hockey and is Harrison Wynn and Arya Ross’s story, who we first met in Win Big and I really enjoyed it. Harrison is desperate to prove he has what it takes to make it in the NHL. He lives to play hockey although he needs to be more focused and that’s where Arya comes in. However Arya has been burnt in the past and she doesn’t want to open herself up to heartache. The family dynamics of the Wynn family is convoluted and my head spinning at times. However you know that they love one another and will protect and have one another’s back at all times. The chemistry between Harrison and Arya sizzles and as the intensity grows you could feel the heat. I loved Harrison, he is totally swoon worthy, he made me laugh and smile. A well written romance which gave me chills (in a good way).
