I was hoping to love this book. Really, I was. A new author for me and an intriguing plot. I was hooked. But the further I read the more I disliked the main character. I did finish the book in hopes it would get better, but it didn't. Not to mention all the technical mumbo-jumbo. I was hoping for a thriller but this was just not thrilling. Sorry.

I bought the hard cover of this book at a dollar tree just because it seemed interesting. I have to say I'm not disappointed it's definitely better than I thought it would be for $1.32. Loved the futuristic setting and ideas as the story progressed I was more hooked.

Christian Cantrell is a software engineer living outside of Washington, D.C. He is the author of the novels Containment, Kingmaker, and Equinox, as well as several short works of speculative fiction, three of which have been optioned for film or TV.
