I believe I've read 22 of 28 in the series and often have a hard time putting them down. This one, however, I had a hard time picking back up. I usually finish these within a week and this may take a couple of months...feels somewhat haphazard in its transitions between story lines and hard to get much traction on any one of them.

Too many moving parts... I'm a fan of the whole Reacher series and waited patiently for this read. Unfortunately it's getting a bit worn; not the same Reacher, or maybe too much of the same. It seemed a long time developing all of the characters and too long between the action that we enjoy in this character. Thanks and keep 'em coming.

Sorry to say I couldn't finish this story. It was so tedious it wore me down and wore me out. Thank God TC movies are so much better. Too much unneeded narrative. After awhile I didn't care if Jack found his charge or not. That had never happened to me before. Not Lee Childs best work.
