En lo alto de las montañas suizas hay un gran hotel cuyos mejores días de gloria, sin duda, han quedado atrás. Conocido como El castillo en las nubes, cada Noche Vieja se prepara para celebrar el gran baile, y entonces regresa al hotel todo el esplendor perdido.
 
Fanny, una joven de 17 diecisiete años que trabaja en el hotel, se ocupa de hacer la estancia de los huéspedes lo más confortable y lujosa posible. Sin embargo, se da cuenta de que algunos de los huéspedes no son quienes fingen ser.¿Qué planes secretos se forjan detrás de las cortinas de terciopelo? ¿Es cierto que la mujer del millonario ruso tiene el diamante que dice poseer? ¿Y por qué razón Tristan, ese atractivo chico, prefiere trepar por la fachada del hotel en vez de subir por la escalera?

On top of the Swiss mountains there is a great hotel whose better days are long gone. Known as “The Castle in the Clouds”, every New Year’s Eve it gets ready to celebrate the great ball, and thus, all its previous luster and splendor returns that night.
 
Fanny, a seventeen-year-old girl who works at the hotel, is in charge of making sure the guests’ stay is as comfortable and luxurious as possible. However, she soon realizes that some of the guests are not who they pretend to be. What secret plans are forged behind the velvet curtains? Is it true that the Russian millionaire’s wife owns the diamond that she says she does? And why does Tristan, that good-looking guy, prefer to climb the hotel walls instead of taking the stairs?
 
Soon Fanny finds herself in the midst of a dangerous adventure that not only puts her work at risk, but also her heart …
